Rainy and to be Stormy

Today is very Cloudy,having rain and later more thunder storms.The TATS I have posted are simple but that is ok,hey I am learning,and that is big accomplishment for me.Some I am going to make hair barrettes with for my granddaughters,so nothing is going to be wasted.Single ones I have and didn't make pics of are going to have beads added when I find my bead threader for earrings.So everything can be simple and have a simple finish,it is up to each one to find their way,and with everything there is a reason they say and that is so RIGHT.Rem to smile,I am sure you will touch at least one persons heart,and the rest,well they will just wonder what YOU have been up to,:)

The whites one were the first 2 I made almost 2 weeks ago,the reds ones were the ones I did yesterday,I am proud of myself,now to connect them,lololo

I wanted to add this one,thought it might show what they look like in every position,I glued the edges to keep from raveling instead of sewing.

Beautiful Day

This morning is beautiful,the sun shines bright,and the Cardinals are back,along with a few Robins now for about a week,which means Spring is knocking at our door.Everytime I try to get a picture of the birds I scare them off,but I am waiting.Can't wait to open the doors and windows and shoo Winter out and let Spring have her way.Watching Rachel Ray at this moment,I love her,and they are doing squats,lololo can see me doing that.I need to do something else,but waiting on this afternoon so I can walk out the street and back.And I wished my husband would not bring those little chocolate doughnuts home,a try weakness.So hope everyone has a very blessed day,and please smile,it will do your heart good.

Yesterday was a busy day for my Sunday,today I paid for it,new Meds giving me heck also,but the weather was awesome today,cloudy morning gave away to sunny clear skies,will post more tomorrow,hope this feeling will leave.But I did do some tatting,and that is a very good thing,hope your evening is pleasant.

Out of Sorts

Today is windy and cold,with flurries,a day normally for March,took my granddaughter that lives with me to a Birthday Party,Ms Lilly had a blast she said,lololo but for a not so normal day,and they don't happen but rarely I feel so out of sorts.Probably the weather and I am letting a little chore get to me,but I will overcome that.Just really don't feel like getting in to anything at this point,maybe I just need to be lazy and enjoy the cold weather inside with a good cup of coffee.Hope everyone enjoys your weekend and smile for me ok.

What A 48 Hours

Where to begin where to begin,Wednesday night we had a Thunderstorm,having Cable,Phone,and Internet with one Carrier may not be a great idea.We lost it all till late this morning,at which time Tornado Warnings and one spotted,didn't touch down thank goodness,which I got it all back on after our last round this morning.Not been into a whole lot,just been doing some tatting,should have done more,but my heart and soul have not been very cooperative right now,think it is the Barometric pressure doing a number on me.My Youngest Daughter celebrated her 30th Birthday on Thursday,and that just makes me feel older,lololo.But I hope everyone has a great weekend,I got some posting to do,smile ok.

Blah kind of Day

Today was almost another Rain-out.Not in the mood to do much but got to make my daughter and sister-in-law a birthday card tonight.I have made a couple of Tats,got some cleaning done,as much as I usually get done in a day.There are a few things going on but I will put a handle on them,and just want to share we spent a wonderful evening yesterday with my dad on his 80th Birthday.Hope everyone has a wonderful evening and Thursday,and rem. let me see that smile. :)

FYI--Fabric Stiffener

Nice Day

Today is going to be a very eventful day,My 80 yr old father's Birthday.With the weather over the weekend being like it was has put me behind preparing for this,so with some help from my brother and mom we will pull it off thou.We have to make it special with this number.With my 11 month old granddaughter this morning,then I will be out and about.More about than out,lololo.But hope all have a wonderful day,smile.....

Wow

One word to explain my weekend SIMPLE.Saturday started out going to my favorite Antique Store,why,because everything in on one level,making it simple for me and my MS.Got Birthday Gifts,oh yes,my youngest daughter will be 30 this week,yes I was very very young,not,lolololo her favorite piece of glassware,(carnival) and my blessed dad will be 80 tomorrow,and a TWO(2) yes 2 time cancer survivor,got him some pieces for his space,a mule blinder and an old very old saw.THEN I did LEARN to make some TATS,yes I am so excited.I can only make circles but hey they will be sewn together for my first Doily,and so excited to find something else I can create that can be SIMPLY done sitting.Then with the weather so bad yesterday,pouring rain then to snow I decided a good day to finish the Chest of Drawers.Something else I have found I can do SIMPLY by just sitting.I forgot to add that I made my own modge podge to put the upholstery on with.So just another something Simply done.And I have taken the seam out of 2 sacks that I purchased sometime back to make kitchen curtains,which I will post when completed.But most of all precious time spent with my husband. To add I just saw the Cardinals,they are back,will get a picture I am ready for them.Just remember WE can carry on our life even with something as Multiple Sclerosis.Alot of times I could give in and give up,by all means I should be in a wheel chair,but I am a fighter,must be the Scottish-Indian part of me that doesn't allow me to give in,and but above all my FAITH.I hope that this Blog is read,and I hope to show that there can be hope,it just depends on how open-minded to be and NOT give in.Hope everyone has a very Blessed DAY and WEEK,remember to Smile!!!!

Thrift Store Redo

My Thrift Store find and sanded,used upholstery to do drawers,top and sides.Trimmed the edges with blue paint to match light color in upholstery,this is the way my oldest granddaughter wanted.Total price $6.00

Eventful Day

Today started out as an uneventful day,but soon changed after finding out my 11 month granddaughter was here.Her daddy,my son-in-law, had to go for another ear infection then she had an appointment for another ear infection,which she has tubes in her ears and this isn't a good thing,the one may come out,we are praying not.She would not eat anything and her head was congested.Then I got to go to my favorite 3 places,the first one was an antique shop, my daughter found a chandelier she is going to repaint for my granddaughters' room,and then to a thrift store,which proved uneventful,no furniture to repaint or repair,and then to Hobby Lobby.Now I am exhausted but going to watch a video on how to Tat.Wish me luck,lololo.The day was beautiful and sunny,which cheered  my MS up.Snow for Sunday so that will be a day of rest for sure.Have been on Pinterest and as always saw something else,  :) But anyway you guys have a safe weekend just in case someone does read this,and remember SMILE,because trust me there is always Someone who needs to see that.

Ok today is yucky,Rain,Rain,and more Rain.Can't get motivated for anything.Need to sew,but my MS is making my head feel like I am going around and around,even sitting here typing.But it will pass and then I will jump lololo sure into it.I have to find something funny or I would just be another statistic,and I will and have never allowed this since it went full blown in 2003,the year I was finally diagnosed.Still haven't gotten to Hobby Lobby or Michaels. Which is good,now I want to learn to Tat.I am going to give it a shot,and I believe I will enjoy it since I love doilies.Whenever I get to go antiquing that is always something I purchase.They make great                             little gifts and can be framed.And also you know how it is when you have feeling and signs,well this week everyday the good LORD was preparing me for something else,and there has been tragedy in our family.We know when it happens we should wake up,I have learned to listen to it,to many times I didn't.But being wiser and older has surely also helped.So always listen to that inner self. I also hope everyone has a blessed day and remember SMILE.

Forgot

I have to share this,my husband myself and our granddaughter who lives with us had a glorious Valentine's Dinner,shrimp,salad,baked potato,and his cake I made him,using the white icing with his favorite Candy M&M's sprinkled all on top,it was such a nice meal at home,he didn't have to work at his 2nd job,and then he gave me a beautiful sterling silver necklace.I love him so much,after over 32 years of marriage he still does it good,lololo. Yes Life Can Be Simple,and still very exciting.

Beautiful Day

The weather has been like me lately,unsettled,can't decide if sunny,nice,or cold and just cold.But today was really nice and very sunny,but tomorrow rain again.Did not get anything around the home done,did go over a little with a second coat of paint in my granddaughter's room,only one wall to go with 2 coats,painting pink over white,and still have to do a second coat.Going to get a quilt out tomorrow and might get in a stitch or 2,hopefully.Got to get a card made or 2 for 3 family members next week,my dad will be 80 and a 2 time cancer survivor,colon and lung.Now that is reason enough every year to celebrate,and our family does make a big to do over birthdays.The Lord blessed us and we in return celebrate life each year.My granddaughter's recently deceased Nana would want to sleep through hers,I never understood that.With my MS I expect to kick up my heals as long as I can.Guess I should shut up,it has been a long tiring day,but my MS isn't going to win this week,lololo so remember SMILE,I just might be the one you pass on the street to make my day.

Watching the Chew,Reminder if anyone does read this

Watching the Chew today reminded me of the hardest job I had,yes even worse than putting up with doctors at the hospital where I worked was being a waitress,yes a waitress.If anyone does read this and gets out for Valentine's Dinner,be kind,be patient.Most waitress and waiters rely on tips,and long waits and poor service is not their doing,it is thou them that have to put up with potty mouths and rude people.So remember this Valentine's Day be nice to the wait staff,they are the ones you see,not the ones who are causing all the issues. And with that it is cold but not like yesterday,and the weather forecasters are calling for snow tonight,they can't seem to decide on just how much,guess we will wait and see in the am.Got alot done this weekend with the cold weather,well for someone who has MS that is,and think did excellent.Notice Hobby Lobby and Michaels both have great sells on their beads,so hopefully this evening I can get to either one.Preferably Hobby Lobby,but who knows,have to push where my daughter works.So hope everyone's  week has started out great and stay that way,rem. to always SMILE!!

• 1   package  frozen mixed vegetables, thawed (16 ounces)
• 1   cup   cut-up cooked chicken
• 1   can  condensed cream of chicken soup (10 3/4 ounces)
• 1   cup   Original Bisquick® mix
• 1/2   cup   milk
• 1     egg

Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Mix vegetables, chicken and soup in ungreased 2-quart casserole.

Stir remaining ingredients in small bowl with fork until blended. Pour into casserole.

Another cold day here in the South East,17at noon,this isn't right.We had snow showers yesterday and last night,too cold to snow I guess,and the air didn't have enough moisture.Got my chest of drawers upholstered (something new I saw on Pinterest) and my Valentine Cards made.My Potato soup was good,just added bacon,chicken broth,salt, a dash of cajun spice with flour and milk to my cooked potatoes,and my husband and    granddaughter topped it with shredded cheese,  with some corn bread,yummy,just what we needed for a very cold day.Haven't seen the Cardinals,they must have flown somewhere warmer.Got to get to  work on quilting,another good week weather wise for that,and get some new jewelry made for the Spring,that I am so looking  forward to..Hope everyone has  a blessed Sunday and week ahead,Remember to smile,if one person can,it passes forward to many.

COLD WEEKEND

It is official,it is cold.The wind is howling,the snow comes in squalls,and at this moment the sun is trying to shine through.My weekend is going to be another one inside.My granddaughter Lilly and I are watching Marley and Me,we love it,so between finishing the chest of drawers we are going to watch movies ALL weekend.The hubby has gone to the store to purchase some things to have for the weekend,the potato soup is going to be so good,I will post the recipe later.My pain no. today is 8,but going to fight through it,because MSers are fighters,we have to be.My Cardinals haven't made it here today,hope they stay out of the wind.Rem. to smile,just try,it will help.

It is Friday,suppost to be really cold and few snow flurries this weekend,which means I will be inside during it all.The Cardinals are back,went to take a picture and the batteries are dead,so no picture.I think the Ray's are going to have Potato Soup this weekend,checked and most recipes are the same as mine except maybe a plus or minus one. Oh they said we could temps with the wind chill at or near 0 this weekend,oh no(we are in the midsouth),we should keep the ground hog in hiding next winter,lolololo. But I have plenty to do,and right now my MS is behaving so it is the time.Hope you guys have a good weekend,stay safe,and rem. a little smile goes along way.

Ok it is Thursday,and now we are once again cold and snow showers starting Friday and the weekend.So it will be a" finish up a job long weekend",my chest of drawers.The weather is playing games with my MS it seems,trying to fight the tiredness of it and not give into it.I need to finish my Valentine cards,and got a couple to put in the mail.This year everything is hand-made,which I myself love receiving,makes the gift so much more personnel.I am going to visit some of my Blog buddies and see what you guys have for a good but easy Stew or pot pie recipes. My Red Birds still haven't been around and maybe they will be back,I sure miss them,maybe they knew it was going to be bad here and left for a few,lololo.I hope everyone has a very blessed day and rem.Smile that sure helps my day to see someone smiling.

Nothing like living in the Ray House

Today was better than the last few,thank goodness,got my only kitchen cabinet that needed cleaned from last spring done.lololololo Wow how can anyone accumulate so much,20 yrs of such.Then worked on project of putting upholstery on a $3.00 chest of drawers from a thrift store,now got to do the sides and top.Will put pics on here when completed.Then the topper of it all,my granddaughter that lives with us got in shower and no water pressure,oh no,well checked the lines and then had to move corner cabinet that was in front of door to the water supplies and yes when we moved it my Thomas Kinkead Gazebo fell on my daughters' head,yeah but did not break,and she used an ice pack for a few minutes,lololololololo,thank goodness there is always something happening to wake us up.I moved the Gazebo and a crystal heart shaped bowl to my room in my display cabinet.But again Life Can Be Simple or life can be boring,not here,WE JUST LOVE LIFE,even packed kitchen cabinets,gazebos falling or no water pressure,WE MAKE OUT OF LIFE WHAT WE MAKE OUT OF LIFE,and mine I do love with my family,my illness,and anything falling.

Another Week

Good Morning,the sun is trying to shine,oh please.The weekend was painful one,but I trudged through it.Spent alot of time in my room.I guess I think if I am out of sight,out of mind,but last night Lilly my granddaughter who lives with us ask me why I moved the rocker out of the living room into my room,forget that idea. My birds were here for a few minutes,they know I am trying to get a picture of them,smarter and faster than me.Got plans of what needs done here,doesn't mean it will get done,just have plans lolololo. Still trying to talk my husband to lets get out of town,getting no where here.I found an old road map I am going to redo a wooden chair in,decoupage it.Another plan for my week.I try to put a few small things out there,most of time can't get it done,but I am setting goals,do them till I do get it done. Just hope ALL have a Very Blessed WEEK,and I love each and everyone,just do not agree with my enemies.
